Organization
The GAT Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization headquartered in Singapore. The GAT Foundation has no share capital, no profits given to individuals, and no private inurement.
Governance
The Foundation and its assets are managed by a board of independent governors. The role of the Board of Governors is to ensure that the objectives described in the GAT Whitepaper are duly implemented.
Charter
As a non-profit organization, the GAT Foundation operates independently in accordance with its charter documents. The Foundation’s charter sets out policies and regulations for, among other things, the stewardship of crypto-currency assets created and collected during the GAT token distribution process from 16 December 2017 to 7 January 2018.
Contract Code
The software for the Global Awards Token was deployed on the Ethereum main network on 16 December 2017 01:35:58 AM +UTC at block height 4740059. On deployment, a fixed, non-inflationary supply of 1 billion GAT was created. All transfers of GAT are processed autonomously through the decentralized contract code deployed on the Ethereum main network.
